COOKING PLEASURES

If you grill it, they will come!

I love to grill.  It would not be unusual for me to grill when it is raining or even snowing--I've done both.  But this girl would never grill using gas--only charcoal for me!  I think the flavor is so much better.

I love to smoke pork butts and ribs.  The only problem is that I start the smoking process around 7:00 a.m. when I'm doing it and the neighbors start foaming at the mouth.  They tell me it is torture!!

Filet mignon, roasted Rosemary potatoes, and lemon pepper asparagus is a staple in our house.  I grow my own Rosemary, as well as Basil, Oregano, and Chives.  There is nothing better than going out and plucking off Basil leaves to garnish some fresh mozzarella and tomatoes.

It is always a thrill to see the pleasant look on the faces of my boys and daughter-in-law when they walk in the house and there is an aroma of something in the oven or on the stove.

I have many other specialties and will share them occasionally.

  1. "pleasant" look? That's a nice way to describe it! Perhaps "ravenous" more accurately describes the look on our faces when we smell your cooking! DELISH
