I've always loved being outside, whether it be working in my flower garden, mowing the lawn, playing sports, sitting by the outdoor fireplace at night and looking at the moon, or just enjoying family time. Food is a must and that satisfies another passion--cooking! It doesn't get much better than hearing family and friends laughing, kids and dogs running around, and everyone enjoying food cooked from the heart.

This is my very first grand dog! His name is Chief. Chief was staying with my husband and me during a time his daddy was deployed and his mommy was on bed rest carrying triplets. During the time Chief was with us, my beloved dog Sweetie was very sick. After 16+ years, it was time for Sweetie to go to Rainbow Bridge and wait for me there. Chief could feel my grief and he saved me with funny distractions and just being the sweetest dog in the world!
